Hydrology monitoring system provides a standalone monitoring system to significantly improve the efficiency and accessibility of electricity provision for a remote community. This system is intended to measure the efficiency of the hydropower system by continuously monitoring the discharge of water at turbine and the output power. The panel meter provides real time values for temperature, voltage, discharge and power output. Therefore, efficiency can easily be determined. In case of any deviation from the threshold value, the system alerts the concerned authority. This enables for the necessary actions to be taken pre hand.
