Embedded systems are designed to bring optimization and reduce the size and cost of the product. These systems generally use microprocessor or custom designed chips or sometimes both. Embedded solutions covers all aspects of designing hardware and software solution as some tasks cannot be completed just by using computer application. It becomes stupendous to use a computer to carry out small tasks. They are mostly standalone system and work without any extremities.

These systems are more efficient as they have dedicated OS configuration or specific embedded OS. In general they are also mini computers but designed to do certain tasks only.
Hardware designing, programming and prototyping are the major elements of an embedded system. We are involved in designing PCB layout to firmware programming.


Circuit Design and Layout

Circuit designing can range from simple component interfacing to complex electronic circuits and also sometimes designing the internal circuit for an Integrated Circuit. Circuit designing can be tedious and should be given extra precaution down to the last footprint of a capacitor. Circuits are the main building blocks for any machinery and they are the ones that decide the internal workings of a machine.

Firmware Programming

Firmware programming is very essential in embedded system designing. It is different from software programming as it requires knowledge of all hardware used in the circuit. The programs are directly burned into a microcontroller and these programs provide the guidelines on how the circuit will function. The circuit design controls the magnitude of current and voltages flowing into a component while firmware decides when and where these voltages and current should flow.
